• Campus placement- Students from good colleges are recruited directly through campus placement.
• Employee referral-Existing employees of the organization give references of friends or previous colleague.
• Promotion /Transfer- a vacant place can be filled by promoting an existing employee or transferring a capable candidate from some other unit of the organization.
• Advertisement-Are given in newspaper and websites and applications for the post are invited.
• Consultants- are firm which specialize in recruitment. They have a large data base of suitable candidates.
• Job Site-Various job based site contains the CV of candidates looking out for an opening.
• Head Hunting-Is approaching the candidate who is working in a same position in a competitor company.
