Reason For The Delay Of Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince

The release of much awaited Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince has been postponed from November 11 of 2008 to July 17 of 2009. Warner Bros have officially made the announcement of the delay. The main reason given by the production house is that, the summer is the best time for release as its holiday time and kids can watch the movie as many times as they want. It is also believed that the film will make maximum profit as there is no other major release is schedule for that part of the year. But the grapevine in the market is that this decision has been taken due to its star Daniel Radcliffe appearing unappropriately on the Broadway play, ‘Equus’. Warner Bros have been apprehensive that this kind of appearance will ruin the sanctity of Harry Potter’s image. Though the company has announced that the release of the 6th edition will not have any effect in the production and release of the next part which is ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ ,its still little dicey.
