Use of Bio Fuel Has Resulted In Increasing Poverty

Sunday, August 10th, 2008

Bio fuel is seen as an option of saving climate and meeting our energy needs. Instead of doing any good it has resulted in   increasing poverty. According to a study conducted by the World Bank prices of food items have increased 83 times in developing countries in the last three years affecting billions of poor. In such countries people living below poverty line could hardly afford a day’s meal and the situation has got worse with the price hike. The bio fuel program will take another 150 years to show the result, according to a science journal. It will be far better if the developed countries reduce their carbon emission rate instead of putting the developing nations on the verge of food crisis.

Online Education Vs Classroom Sessions

Sunday, August 10th, 2008

Online learning is a good mode of education for those who do not have time to attend classroom sessions. With The growing competition executives all around the world are competing for the top positions. An online course helps such people in increasing their credentials without taking a break for their job.  Few years back there were hardly any technical courses but now-a-days there are specialized course in very field.  Middle aged professionals, who feel hesitant in sitting with all young people around, can opt for such courses.
These lessons do not present one with the opportunity of interacting with others. Peer interaction is very important in enhancing ones personality. Everyone has his own opinion and we see the things the way we want but someone else’s opinion can broaden our purview and show us new frontiers. Classroom sessions also help in clearing our doubts and discussing every minute detail with the teacher. In my opinion traditional classroom training cannot replicate the online world.
